Gluten-free All Purpose Flour Mix

Jeanne’s Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour Mix


Makes: 4 1/2 cups


  • 1 1/4 cups brown rice flour

  • 1 1/4 cups white rice flour

  • 1 cup tapioca flour

  • 1 cup sweet rice flour (also known as glutinous rice flour)

  • 2 scant teaspoons xanthan gum

  • Mix all ingredients together and store in a cool, dark place, or in the fridge for long-term storage.

This is a simple recipe that uses cups instead of weight in grams as most Americans don't have kitchen scales.​

I will post more complicated flour mixtures over time. Why? Because everyone has different preferences for types of flour used from bean flours to cornstarch to buckwheat.
